IPL 2018 Went Abuzz with Nuvoco’s #DuraguardPlay
The Indian Premiere League is one of the biggest sporting events of the year in the world of cricket. It is characterised by fan following, world class cricket and pure entertainment. It also provides us an opportunity to get brand visibility while affiliating with some of the biggest personalities who embody our core values.
This year Nuvoco’s champion brand Duraguard associated with one of the most flamboyant teams in the IPL line up – Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and extracted maximum visibility for the brand. The fact that our team was also lead by Team India’s Captain Virat Kohli was an added attraction.
The different social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter & Instagram were used extensively to their respective strengths in reaching out to the fans and followers. Our focus was to create the maximum footprint with our social campaign. We successfully achieved
- 250 million impressions across platforms
- Over 30,000 tweets were traced on twitter alone for our hash tags #DuraguardPlay, #DuraguardTeamRCB and #RCBcementingPlayOffs. Each of these featuring on India’s top ten trending hashtags on every match day during the play-offs.
- Around 100,000 people engaged with various contests like Predict & Win, Trivia and Spot Duraguard Contests.
- Approximately 300% increase in interest was observed for Duraguard on digital media.
Since IPL is all about teams, we didn’t miss out on our Maitree team either. A special meet and greet with the players happened at the Annual Dealer’s Meet held at JW Mariott Kolkata with much excitement and fanfare.
