Nuvoco Features in India’s First People Capital Index Top 50 List
Nuvoco becomes the only company from construction materials industry to be featured on this elite list based on the parameters of Talent Satisfaction. The initial qualification criterion was that at least thirty mid-management level employees had to respond in an anonymous online survey. Based on the response 180 Indian companies had qualified to be in the PCI race. The British Standards Institution (BSI), the world’s most experienced Standards Body and founding member of ISO, was the standards and audit partner for People Capital Index(PCI). Nuvoco scored because of its programmes and initiatives as well as its progressive HR policies.
Mr. Devendra Shangari, Chief of Human Resources & Industrial Relations, Nuvoco, who collected the award on behalf of Nuvoco, remarked on the win, “This means that we are on the right track! It is a matter of immense pride that our employees, our most valuable asset, have expressed such high satisfaction. We have always endeavoured to support talent across levels with the right Tools, Trainings and Tips (Coaching). In that respect, we have moved away from the traditional talent management approach, and have instead adopted a more contextual, inclusive method, which is adaptable to different needs across levels. This award is a validation of all those efforts. Ranking this high on India’s first People Capital Index is the most rewarding vindication of the focus and support of our top leadership for the growth and development of our employees.”
The awards function took place in Mumbai at ‘Leading From Behind,’ an HR leadership summit; where the top 50 of the PCI list were felicitated. Nuvoco joins the bracket of companies like Tata, Mahindra, Godrej, GE, HUL, Philips, Marico, Cadila, Wipro, Deloitte, Dell, Airtel, Bajaj, Accenture and Abbott. With a high degree of employee satisfaction pertaining to its talent development efforts and programmes, Nuvoco is now one of the most preferred destinations for new talent to flourish.
