MCP started supplementary education centre

Under Sakshar Bharat program, Mejia Cement Plant (MCP) has started a supplementary education centre for primary school children at Kenthulia village. Based on a need assessment study and request from the community to provide better education to the children this initiative was rolled out. A number of community meetings were also organised on how to run the supplementary education centre successfully. Apart from regular coaching, parents meeting and evaluation the centre will be monitored by the community. Parents are ready for partial contribution for their children’s education in a whole hearted manner. Most of the children covered in the program belong to underprivileged communities.
